2 cm Erdkampflafette 151/20

Does anyone know more about this gun mount? Was it ever put into mass production?

I've found a draft for the manual, so this is the only info I have: 2 cm Erdkampflafette 151/20

Hi

In the Waffen Revue 29 there is one foto of a lot
of captured M.G. 151/20 Drilling in Koln
So I think it is a serie production , there is also
some info in the book Westwall from Manfred Gross
that in September 1944 they produced 50 M.G. 151
M II for the Fest Dienststelle Düren , but I don't know
if this is a 151/15 or 151/20 drilling.

Thanks for the info. The 2 cm Erdkampflafette MG 151/20 only mounted one gun, though - the Drilling Sockel on the picture appears to be for fortification purposes, or vehicles.

Patrice
Thanks for the picture - this appears to be a different mount (probably a field conversion), as it has wheels (as opposed to the Erdkampflafette).

Hi,

Is there any evidance of the use of this weapon on the SdKfz 7 Feurleitwagen's of the SS-500 battery in April or May 1945 in Northern Germany?
I have a oral report that this vehicle was used in this role after the dismatle of the V-2 battery.
The man says that they did remove the upper hull and placed the weapon inside.

Greetings

Bert

I have those 2 photos:Volkssturm parade in Poznań (Posen). As you can see they are towing on trolley a small guns-probably MG 151/20.It is reported that this kind of weapon was produced in Poznań
(this city is also known of producing:Fw190 & Ta 154, armament for Luftwaffe and various equipment)

the drilling was placed in SdKfz (don't know the precise type), and by my knowledge not used is fortifications.
the germans used a 2cm KwK in the Festung HvH but this was a gun from a armored reconnessancecar.
