Hello

Hmmm. Some kind of Castle maybe, or memorial - but no idea whatsoever

Hi Kurt

Neither a castle nor a memorial! The brickwork is post war, but it is covering an original German construction. Should be an easy one for the locals! :)
Maybe even SES would know this one (hint)

Hi,
The shape looks like a hexagon, which suggest a Würzburg Riese foundation on top, but I cannot recall having seen this construction

Well TUSS,
If you made this picture yourself you were a long way from home!
Hope it was worth the trip, The Festung HvH lost almost two Km
of bunkers of the Landfront (two Wn's almost completely gone).
I will now return to my lair and think of a new one.

Hi Jack

Off course I was the one behind the camera. :) The HvH was only a pit stop (but one of the better ones though) on our tour-de-Holland last summer.
It was a FuMO 2 on top right?

Hi TUS,
I think so (was a Boulogne or a Calais).
Well it took me a while to make a new question.
But here it is.
What and where.

Hi,

It looks like the western facing 670 built into the British Victorian fort on Raz Island, Alderney which the Germans called Wn. Eilandfeste.
