Hi Alex

I think the town itself and the harbour of Le Havre was sliced in parts and were numbered
for instance the whole Dique Charles Laroche was W.n. 040 except Sudmole ( 036 ) .

Hello Jos,

if you look at the troops and weapons list from ´44
you´ll find only material from the MKB and no Flak staff... isn´t it?

at all infos I found until now... it looks if the Flak Bttr´s. stand alone?!
maybe they had "Tarnnamen"?
It would be great if you found a docu where the Flak are mentioned... or a Battr. with the WN number?

Hi Alex

I had the same discussion with Jörg about the W.n 41 or 42 for the heavy flak batterie at Mole Centrale
we have conflicting information on several maps . From what I have found Stp.Gruppe Süd was composed
of W.n. 34 till 048 and all are accounted for so I think the Dique was W.n. 040 .

Jos,

The presence of large oil storage tanks on the 2nd picture makes me think of the Digue Ouest in Le Havre harbor. This would be the same general area where the Germans later installed the well-named MKB Petrolhafen. Oil storage tanks are still present today.

Correct Emmanuel

Maybe we can see on the first picture a Luftwaffe light flak battery .
