Hi,
I'm looking for some pictures of this bunker type, from other countrys then Poland. I would like to know if this is local ( Polands ) type of bunker. Links to some photos of a one 514 from Bruckenkopf Warschau.

Hello Blazlov

I have never seen the R. 514 in the Atlantikwall ,
I think that they preferred the R. 105 and the later
planned and build R. 630 . So maybe in the Westwall ???

Because I really like this compact bunker I'm trying to find all existing 514s.

Bruckenkopf Warschau 13x? 1 intact?
Galindestellung, Poland 2x intact.
Grenzstellung Lublin, 1 x intact
Grenzstellung Galizien, Poland 3x intact?
Spichernstellung, near Saarbrücken 1x?
Any more places?

It looks like it was only built in a very short time period in 1940 when all these new lines were built on new claimed land.
It must have been forbidden to use it after this period because otherwise it would be a great Atlantikwall casemate?

Hello All

I have a quistion about this bunker it looks like a enlarged 514 and with entrance defence .
Could this be a 514 with a prefix or is this a unknown 500 type ???.

Drawing is from Jens Andersen

Nice one, it really looks like a 514 but the setup with entrance defence and Notausgang are really 100 series..

Interesting drawing.. I can only agree with Arthur regarding the setup!

Thanks to you and Jens for posting it here. :) Nothing to do with Denmark I guess??

Hi

The drawing was most likely found among the papers of the Fest.Pi.Stab 31 in Denmark

According to the Baufortschrittsmeldung of 15.1.1945 none were ever constructed in Denmark.

However, I guess that is not that strange, because in order to choose they would have to know all types. Among the drawings from that source there are other types never built in Denmark.

The Regelbau 514 was called "M.G. Kasemate ohne Gruppe" so the
drawing of Jens could be a "M.G. Kasemate mit Gruppe" ???

Hi Arthur,

Polish sources talks about 11-12 x 514 in Brückenkopf Warschau. One of them intact.
Galindestellung is right - 2 x 514 intact.
According to any Polish forum, there are 4 x 514 in Dęblin (Moszczanka, Skrudki, 2 x Pożóg - all heavy damaged) and one 514 intact in Annopol. Both places are 50 km from Lublin.

Where is "Grenzstellung Galizien"? I have never heard about any German "heavy" fortification at southwest part of Poland (Galizia), except command posts R668 and Pak shelters R701, built at B1-Stellung (from August 1944 to January 1945).

Great! I had no idea about Grenzstellung position so south. (I drove through Wierzbna last year, but have no idea about German bunkers.)

I have made an approximate map of known locations of Grenzstellung (only locations, not bunkers). Each position includes one or more Regelbau 514.
