Well, Silviu, you put me at the quite a torture!

This is rather heavy & intriguing question. Even the Kennblätter from 01.08.41. (ammo under 37mm) didn't helped me, all I found were weapons in original caliber:
6,5mm Flzg MG 401(h) .... Lewis
6,5mm Flzg MG 402 (h) ... Schwarzlose
7,7mm Flzg MG 425 (h) ... Vickers.
In 7.9x57mmR Dutch caliber ( 7,9mm Patrone s S 294 (h)) I found only infantry (cavalry) Schwarzlose MGs (sMG-241,242,243,244(h)).
Very oddly, standard Dutch aircraft MG in this caliber (Browning M.36) is not mentioned! :x
If you google with "Flzg MG" you get first - this topic question! 8O

As for me, you can spot a "motley towel" in the ring. :?

Silviu, since you changed the quiz question, could you fulfill our curiosity, i.e. to post the German beute codes for Dutch aircraft machine guns recalibrated to 7,9mm ? (Maybe the Dutch FN Browning M.36 markings as well?)

ops it is for Madsen
for Browning it's very possible to sell this weapons for axis allies ( recalibrate to 7,92 mm Mauser) and for my second question the answer is colonel Isaak N.Lewis and colonel Chauchat

One of our first questions, asked over four years ago, eventually has been answered.

As for yours one, my feeling is the submachine gun may be a child of the Sten and perhaps the Suomi (again). Similar in concept to the Stemple's guns. Of course I have no idea how it is being designated.

This is what I meant: a cross between both 'parents' inheriting their features. More of the Suomi by the way than those of the Sten.

Well that was too easy, everyone got it right. 8O It is indeed a sten soumi hybrid. It's official designation is the FaRT gun MkI :)

Mk. III Sten modified to look like a Mk. II? Repositioned front sight. Odd seam ahead of the magazine well; possibly cut down receiver and removable barrel and shroud.

It's built to original specifications. It was issued to troops as shown in the pic in WW2. It has a name
