MP3008 Neumünster
I have just made a new add to my collection!
A Orginal MP3008 Neumünster, its fully functional, but not great in the finish (rust attacked so to speak) but not rusted away or a dug..
I know there where about 3000-5000 made from the summer 1944 to the end 1945, but I have heard that there its only about 25-50 existing today, is this true? and what should be the value of one that is working, but not great in the condition?

Sure PropCollector ,hope thses pictures gives you an idea how the MP3008 and the Sten are diffrent. As seen on this picture are the M3008 (on the left) and the Sten MK.II bolt (on the right), they are simular but not the same! The Sten bolt dont work in the MP3008 and visa versa.

Also on the MP3008, barrel heat protection was dumped, and the barrel was fixed on place with a metal pin in the front section of the gun tube! and the front sight fixed on place with three stamp marks from a stamp tool.

The MP3008 do not take the Sten magazins, only the MP38/40 Magazins works.

The MP3008 is very simular to the Sten gun, but details have been changed, maybe not for the better, but made so simpel as possible to make them fast.

I think the body of the MP3008 is almost the same to a Sten gun exept the magazin housing that is downward.

The bolt is, as i expected, changed for the extraction from below out of the mp38/40 mag (instead of from the side).
