I am writing a book about innovative or rare small arms designs and need help

1.Does anybody have any photos of a field stripped Voksturmgewehr VG1-5 7,92 Kurz ?

2. Any German technical manuals on this weapon or,

3. Allied Intelligence reports with illustrations or photos ( they were actually very good ! ) ?

4. Any museum or private collection where there is one to be examined?

Any information will be greatly apppreciated

The Collector Grade book "Desperate Measures The Last-Ditch Weapons of the Nazi Volkssturm" has info on this weapon, including an expolded view of the parts.

Not a good photo, but I have one of these that is fully operational. If you still need the pics of disassembly I can probably do those.

holy crap!

pictures would be nice, all the pics i've seen of the VG 1-5 are b&w and crappy with no detail.... please! heck, any pictures would do!

and what does it look like down the sights?

I'll take some time later to get more detailed photos showing the unique features of this arm and include some notes on firing it.

If there is interest I can also provide pictures of the steps required when I hand make the 7.92x33 cases from surplus 7.62 NATO.
