The very first Sosso-pistol was manufactured in 1934! So being most advanced automatic pistol using 9.00 Pb rounds.
Gun had own locked breechsystem. The recoil spring war attached round the barrell. Magazine capacity was 20 and one to chamber. Actually the gun was belt-fed, cause the actual magazine was like a frame for belt where the cartridges were attached. Gun was rather expencive and so Sosso made a new version. Mechanism remained same, gun and slide were designed rounder and frame of the gun was made of Zama called metal mixture. This proved to be too flimsy. Small numbers of the nro 2 model were manufactured during 1938-40. Third model was developed and it went into production in 1941 at FNA factory in Italy after Guilio Sosso had offered it to Walther factory in germany. This was all steel gun. Weight 1150 g, it had same 20 round magazine. Total length of the gun was 242 mm, barrel length 150 mm, height of the gun was 160 mm and it had barrel with 6 rifles and right hand twist. There were two models in production - military model which had a metal-frame holster which could be used as stock and a lanyard ring. The model meant to civil markets lacked these.
Guilio Sosso died in Italy in 1965. After the war he lived in his farmhouse, near Casale Monteferroa where he had a small gun-smiths shop.
Hope someone else could find more info about these fine guns.
