MG34s and MG42s in Carentan

What I need to know is wether there were MG42s in Carentan, MG34s, or both. If you could list the more-common weapons of both forces that would be great.

hello,
It seems that during the operations of Carentan. The paratroopers were equipped only with MG42 in 1942, 1943 and early 1944.
the waffen ss them were equipped with MG34 and MG42. The waffen SS was later equipped with modern equipment, so it probably possesses more than MG42 MG34. But I think the panzer grenadier heer had to have a little more than MG34 MG42 because they were equipped for longer. if one takes into account the size of the heer it should not be easily fitted to all units with modern equipment.
sacanaht also that the eastern front aspired lot of material.

the felddivision had such a little MG15, MG34 and MG42.

by cons nobody knows how exatement there were weapons on the ground.
