Here's a video and analysis of B-patrone and Soviet PZ original "explosive" observation ammunition being fired into ballistic soap along with slow motion captures:

Great test, absolutely horrifying results. Thanks for sharing!
It would be interesting to see a test with reproduction ammo, removing any risk of degradation due to age.

This man Simo Häyhä was a finnish sniper (most effective sniper 500-742 kills of russian during finnish winterwar)was hit himself with
a russsian high explosive in face in short distance
