Hi Everyone,
This is my Luger which I purchased before the new EU legislation came into place last week. I've heard that Lugers sometimes have a plum colour due to Blueing Salts, is that what has happened here.
Kind Regards,
Harvey

Well - reblued for sure. Gun seems to have suffered some heavy rusting which has been removed mechanically. Well hope it was not too expencive - probably was.

I was told it was Plum Parkerisation due to problems with the salts used in the factories for bluing. How much would you say this is worth in GBP?

I gotta admit that I´m bit outta expertice giving values of Parabellums. My expertiece is just trying to check authentity of guns and other collectibles. check also our fisrt picture where is stamped P-08 - it is rather thin and partly fading - so the surface seems to be rustcleaned mechanically.

I'd agree with SVaaka it appears to have been cleaned at least on that surface and the opposite side, that with the rusting it's far from mint, what I'd estimate its value at is £250 if it's not matching numbers, maybe £350 if it is, I payed £280 for a mostly matching 75% blued one and I think it was cheap
