Personally I'd say that is "Suomi" for sure. The sad thing is, that we never find out in what unit this sodier belongs and what is the story behind that smg.

It's Suomi M/31 submachinegun, no question about that. While the bolt is indeed in its rear position, the safety seems to be on.

On the left safety on, on the right ready to go rock and roll (swich on full-auto):

The soldier might be a Finnish volunteer in Waffen SS division Wiking, but its difficult to say for sure, since quite a few Suomi M/31 were also acquired for German use (the Germans bought them mainly for the SS and Waffen SS during the war). Finnish wartime export licenses of Suomi M/31 to Germany give total number of about 3,000 weapons, but its not certain if these were all delivered. Also additional 120 weapons were donated to AOK Norwegen. In addition some 1,400 were manufactured in Denmark and taken over by the German military in October of 1943.

The one on the left is Soviet PPD-34/38. Notice attachment of the drum magazine completely below the stock.

No offense, but it's SVT, with "T" coming from Tokarev (Samozarjadnaja Vintovka Tokareva). SVD would be same as post-WW2 Dragunov sniper rifle: http://www20.patrz.pl/u/f/24/15/40/241540.jpg

At least one PPSh (possibly two) in a Volkssturm wet dream from 1944.
