At least partly captured: Gebirgsjäger with a P14, Boys, MP 28 or derivative and whatnot (maybe a bell muzzle flare gun and Norwegian Madsen among others?) from exp. eBay N:o 221371816342.

Looks like a Polish soldier from the period of the Warsaw Uprising - but photo is very interesting.

Thanks,
I just assumed that since the text on the back appeared illegible it was written in Sütterlin and thus German.

Re: Photos - Germans with captured firearms
What type of gun,are those of Post Number : 1356 (few posts above) ?
Re: Photos - Germans with captured firearms
Same as in #1355 Suomi KP/-31 SMGs. Possibly some Danish-built M.41 with angular pistol grip among them but IMO the stock wood and/or pistol grip make at least the guns in two bottom photos of #1355 and two top shots in #1356 Finnish-manufactured.

With spade grips, the tall rear sight and that muzzle brake, that would be a Vickers (and on Crete) unless I'm mistaken.CHARLEMAGNE 4 wrote:German paratroopers in Crete (May 1941) with Browning M 1917.
