Hptm Beyersdorf

#1

Post by Söderbaum » 07 Sep 2010, 23:01

Hi

Hptm K F Beyersdorf (O) was the commander of several German flying units during the War. However I dont knew his serving units before Jun 1916-

I have that he was promoted to Hptm on 27 Jan 15 and that his home regiment is given as IR 148.

What is K F standing for..?? Karl Friedrich or similar..??

Any hints are welcome
:)

You're quite welcome. I should add that the 1914 Rangliste states:

-/IR148 Oblt. 18.4.13 X3x, k. z. Militaertechn. Akad.

Hi again

I am coming back regarding Hptm Beyersdorf because I still lack his date and place of birth.
Anyone who can help..?

After the War he was living in Neudamm at Küstrin which might be his home area...

Hi Gunnar,
There was a Karl-Friedrich Beyersdorf born on 30.03.1883 in Neudamm, Neumark.
Maybe this is the guy you are looking for?

Best regards,
Matt.

Thanks Matt and Jake !!

It is certain my wanted man.:) I did meanwhile found a note that he was living in Neudamm after the War.
The DOB also fits his promotion cycle.
So this officer is basically solved now.
