I found the DOB for Hans Mohs: 26.11.1870 (Source: landesarchiv-bw.de).

With the deepest gratitude for the rendered assistance, I venture to start just another plea for help and info, this time on Generals with the initial letter "R". (If you're wondering how often I'm going to repeat my requests, there are about a dozen generals with the letters "S" and "W" left. I hope you guys don't become tired of helping me out, I'm really very thankful for each piece of missing information).

Without RDA, first RDAs 01.02.1922
Many thanks again! So it's just as I suspected in that other thread (http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 7&start=30). This explains why junior officers seem to rank others who were promoted or retired in the meantime.

Ernst Reinhardt was apparently born on 23.12.1870 in Bad Mergentheim (Source: myheritage.de).

On Rodewald, are you sure this is the correct promotion date for this officer? I ask this because a 41-year-old GM would be quite young for 1920 and the 1930 DAL shows an Oberst von Rodewald (RDA 01.06.1929).

Again, great work! I'm deeply grateful to you guys.

According to Lexikon der Wehrmacht, Wahlert retired as Char. GM in 1922.
Wallenberg was born on 26.06.1857 (Source: Militär-Wochenblatt 121).
Ziegler died on 07.03.1941 (Source: balsi.de).

So, here is my last batch of generals (Meiser and Soldan are probably post-1932, but I add them because I'm also missing info on them):

A few additions:

Rudolf Sommer †19.12.1961

Otto Schulz *07.02.1862

The Stammliste for IR 132, the regiment Siehr entered the army with on 12.04.1887, gives his full name as Georg Eduard Ernst. The Stammliste for IR 111, in which he later served, shows the same three given names and indicates that Georg was his "Rufname". Kabisch, too, is normally very reliable. Based on the two Stammlisten entries and Kabisch, I think Georg is probably the name he went by.

Many thanks to all of you for your great and valuable help!

According to Wikipedia, "Jürgen" is a variation of "Georg" that was popular between 1910 and 1975. Wegner's "Stellenbesetzung" shows Siehr as "Jürgen" twice and as "Georg" once. A booklet on IR 70 that Siehr published in 1928 appeared under the name of "Jürgen". As abaus says, he was "Georg" in the official records of the Prussian Army. So it seems his name was "Georg" indeed, but he called himself "Jürgen" at a later point.
