Thank you very much!

Do you know if all of the Charakter promotions were made on retirement, or were some active promotions?

In their Stellenbesetzung der aktiven Regimenter, Bradley / Wegner list Franz von Bercken (1863-1922) as "Generalmajor im Reichsheer", while the 1922 Gotha lists him as ""Kgl. preuß. GM a.D." Does anybody know more? Perhaps retired as Char. GM in 1920?

I'm also looking for the retirement date of the following Reichsheer generals:
Hans Mohs
Hugo von Sommerfeld und Falkenhayn
Hugo von Wenz zu Niederlahnstein
Hans Reichard
Erich Soldan

From the Zweng set of generals he lists Erich Ernst Neumann with a 10.02.21 Charakter als Generalleutnant. He is listed as 9.01.19 zu den Offizieren von der Armee, 8.10.19 Artillerieführer Nr.1, and 30.04.21 Abschied bewilligt.
I am compiling a list of the Active Generals of WW1 and the Zweng books along with some super support from other sources are a great help.

Here is what I have. Carl Buchholtz, 30.09.20 GLtCh, 30.09.20 Abschied
von Dawans or Davans, 9..11.20GltCh. ?
Fritsch, 20.09.20 GMCh von seiner Stellung enthoben.
Hubner?
Neumann 10.09.21 Abschied Bewilligt
Pfeil, 1.10.20GltCh Abschied bewilligt
Preintitzer 1.09.21 Glt Abschied bewilligt
Reitzenstein 30.09.20 GltCh 30.09.20 Abschied bewilligt
Riebensahm 3.05.21 GltCh, 30.05.21 Abschied erhalten
Yes. Some of the dates in Zweng's books do not coincide with the official Rangliste. I am putting together
a list of the Prussian generals of World War 1 and hope to finish some time this year.

Thank you! Sommerfeld was a full GM (see here).
Do you have the last assignments for Reichard or Soldan? This could help to find their date of retirement.

Hans Mohs was definitely only Char. GM (see here).

Interesting info on Heinrich Mohs, but as Bilder 7-9 (second link) show, he
1.) was still alive in October 1942 and
2.) still was addressed as and signed as "GM a.D." at that time.
So it should probably be:

Heinrich Mohs
*05.10.1867
+xx.xx.19xx
15.01.1920 Char. Generalmajor (a.D.)
