German Naval Airship Commanders

#1

Post by Paul oftheManCave » 15 May 2016, 04:19

Hello,

I am looking for information on commanders of the Naval Airship division and their careers. I am also very interested in the details of their scouting role in support of the High Seas Fleet, which seems overshadowed a great deal by their bombing missions.

It would also seems than von Buttlar's accounts are the only easily accessible (in English) first hand German accounts. I would very much appreciate any advice on others that might be out there.

many thanks
Paul

PS I had a search but couldn't see this in the archives - apologies if this has been discussed before.
