Hi all,
I'm looking for any info on a Lt Kappis who was a pilot early in WW1. He might have been the WW2 Oberst Kurt Kappis - but I'm not sure about that.

Thanks in advance,
Matt.

Hi Matt

It is the same man, he served initially in IR 128 and IR 152.

Thanks Gunnar!
Do you happen to know his date of birth, or anything about his WW1 service?

Hi Matt

Kurt Kappis received the FzAbz already before the War. He have an birth-certificate on ancestry.de which gives his DPOB, 27.04.1889 in Danzig.
He served within the Air Force the entire War like FFA 16, FFA 37, FFA 22, KG 4, KG 3 etc
