Fangio and all,
Yes, Moraht wrote "Werwolf der Meere" in 1933, and also another book "Die Verzenkung des Danton" in 1917. A friend of mine was kind enough to get her hands on "Werwolf" for me and I'm working on (slowly) translating it to English.
Interestingly enough, both of those seem to coincide with a tide of books by U-boat commanders. I seem to recall Hersing, Valentiner, and others wrote about their biggest exploits of the war in 1916 and 1917 when U-boat men really were celebrities of a sort--probably under the urging of the brass. And 1930-1934 saw a lot of memoirs: I recall Moraht, Fuerbringer, Niemoller, Valentiner, and others.
For us English readers, several of these have been translated, but some of the stories are also told in Lowell Thomas' "Raiders of the Deep", available from Bluejacket Books, published in 1927. Interesting that 10 years after the US got into the war over the U-boats that an American journalist went to go collect German submarine tales, and his book was a bestseller.

Paul Hundius
This is a photo from the Flanders Flotilla. Unfortunately, all I know is that Hundius is one of the two gentlemen on the right. On the left, front to back, are Karl Bartenbach and Hans Valentiner. The man in the middle is Werner Fuerbringer.
