It seems to me, that Austria is now included in the Weimar republic

Well, on 14th of January one of the great old man of Austria died, Fritz Molden; he'd been a diplomat and Media person/Publisher after the war.
His Father had been Chief of the important conservative "Presse" newspaper in the inter war area, his mother was a poet and composer of the actual Austrian anthem.
As a catholic activist, he was first arrested by the Germans at the age of 14, later drafted into a penal Battalion. He escaped to Italian partisans, made his way to Switzerland and became a Liaison for Allan Dulles to the Austrian conservative Resistance, also playing a role in securing Innsbruck from the Germans. He was awarded the "Medal of freedom" by the US in 1974.
He later married the daughter of Allan Dulles while posted as a diplomat to New York. Later in his life he was a Publisher.

I didn't find a English Wiki- entry, so here is the German one : http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritz_Molden
