Small correction:
120/53 should be 120/50
76/49 should be 76/40.

Here is a picture of a 13.2 mm Breda Mod. 1931 heavy AA MG (type identified by Sturm 78 ) captured on Pantellaria island during Operation Corkscrew (June 11, 1943):

An interesting summary report about the attack on Pantellaria exists:

On a somewhat related matter, does anyone have the OOB for the Italian garrison of Lampedusa at around the same time frame?

Any info on the type of guns used by the MILMART coastal artillery?

Also, and this is probably a stretch to ask, but would you know what the OOB would have been at or around the time of the proposed Operation Workshop (Jan '41)?

OK, searched a bit about Lampedusa, and found something about the artillery. For a good article and some nice maps you can look at http://www.scribd.com/doc/16641522/La-P ... iugno-1943

A short summary :
The three (not two) DICAT AA batteries had 75/46 guns.

The coastal defences (MILMART) batteries had :
4 x 76/40 batteries (4 guns each) (136th, 157th, 259th and 457th battery)
2 x 90/53 battery (5 guns each) (511st and 421st battery)
1 x 149/43 battery (4 guns) (1st battery) (Navy crew, not MILMART)
1 x 152/45 battery (3 guns) (2nd battery) (Navy crew, not MILMART)

There were also 4 searchlights sections, and the smallish air force garrison included a group or radar operators (including 3 germans). But you will find more details in the article.

If admiral Pavesi was the gouvernor of Pantelleria and generale di brigata Achille Maffei chief of troups of R.E., what was the role of general d'Amico (if in any case he was on the island) ?
Thanks for tour help
