Benito Mussolini's wartime bunker under Villa Torlonia in Rome is to be opened to the public:

Hope this video can be seen by viewers outside the UK. Sometimes the BBC have geographical restrictions on their video and audio content (for copyright reasons) which can be quite annoying. If you can't watch the video let me know and I'll upload it to my website.

Villa Torlonia was never bombed although it was considered by Anthony Eden a few weeks before Mussolini's downfall in July 1943:
