This picture represent 2 submarines 600 ton class about mars 1943 in adriatic sea during a training cruiser.There is also the support ship and speed boat to tow the targets.

Sorry,but I don't know because all the pictures of my father are without sub titles. I think would be an armoured ship about 900/1200 tons.
Jalea submarine was old and in bad situation about diesel engines and other equipements,so still 1941 has been utilized only for training.
My father after Betasom and some operations in Mediterranean sea has designed at submarine school of Pola as radio transmission teacher.
After in April old Jalea has sended in Jonio sea still 8 september.After Malta went to Alexandria (bitter lakes) after at Gibraltar in cooperation for antisom training. Smoking,moaning and all was possible.....
