Hello,

in "Police uniforms of the world" FG Blakeslee 1934, it mentions khaki uniforms with stand collars and scarlet gorget collar patches and US WW1 stle caps with piping along the top.
Were these uniforms still worn when the Italians took over ?
Or were the Albanian gendarmerie disbanded or absorbed by the Italians and issued with new uniforms ?

The Italians absorbed the Gendarmerie in the Carabinieri Military police withw the same uniforms except the star at the collet that was different, caricated with the Skanderberg Helm
