Hello,

does anyone have a copy of or access to "Le uniformi coloniali Libiche 19121942 " by Piero Crociani ?

Are there any photos or coloured illustrations of the Cacciatori d'africa and Eritrean units 1915-18 ?

Or information about what equipment was worn ?

John.

no are only about libian units.
Crociani write another massive book on Libian troops edit by Historical Office of Italian Army ( " Ufficio Storico Stato Maggiore Esercito )in 1912. Is current on print : more than 400 pages with illustration in color ( price € 48).
For Eritrean troops there is a colorfull book by Zorzetto ( I don't remember the title at moment but wit some internet recherche...).
For the " Cacciatori d'Africa "( Italian troops raised for african use) there is a book of Catellani "Soldati Italiani in Africa "with many photos ( several from my collection). Is a 5 books serie covering from 1882 to 1943.
