Thanks it helped some , but do you have it in better resolution, and as one whole map for April 25 instead of 2 parts, also does anyone know where I can buy these?

Hi,

Although maps for March - May 1945 for the entire eastern front are not posted yet, the guy who runs the following website has placed an enormous amount of Lage Ost, Lage West, etc. maps on his site, as well as a lot of other stuff including pictures, documents, etc.

http://www.wwii-photos-maps.com/index.html

To date, he has posted maps of the eastern front (cateloged by month) for 1941, 1942, 1943 and Jan 1945.

Additionally, he does have maps for Heeresgruppe Weichsel from Jan - April 1945 which might help you out.

Each map is between 80-100 MB but worth the download since you can zoom in on a specific area with great clarity.

He makes periodic trips to College Park, MD where he gets copies of these maps for his website. I consider his efforts a great asset to anyone interested in these types of maps.

If you find something you like, he only asks for a small donation to help keep his website up and running.

Thanks,

Doug

I have seen it before, it's a nice sight, I discovered it yesterday, and does anyone know where I can buy actual paper maps of these?

I believe he makes periodic trips to the archives in College Park, MD to take photographs of these maps, which he converts to computer files. As far as I can tell, "paper" copies don't exist. I think after the war, the maps were copied here in the US and the then the originals were returned to Germany.
