A question about Lag Ost Maps
A question about Lag Ost Maps
I know that Lag Ost maps were produced on a daily basis, but was more than one produced every day, eg...morning situation, mid day situation and the evening maps that showed the situation as of 2300 hrs (Berlin time). Was there an intelligence map made that only showed air recon and radio intercepts or was it all combined into a single situation map ?

Re: A question about Lag Ost Maps
From the NARA guide (can be found here: http://downloads.sturmpanzer.com/Guides ... heater.PDF):
"For most of the period covered, at least two maps per day were prepared." The same paragraph includes more information about the frequency of maps for various campaigns.

Interested in any/all information re: 97. Jäger (Leichte Infanterie) Division, incl. J.R/204, J.R./207, A.R. 81, and especially A.A. 97
