Hitlers solution for Generals after Kursk

Panzer Division Concentration at Kursk comprised almost every Panzer Division , 2nd-4th-5th-6th-7th-8th-9th-11th-12th-17th-18th-19th-20th-1st-2nd-3rd SS-Grossdeutschland Div.
Once the Panzers were fully engaged, surprise Russian Tank Armies appeared , and presented the possibility of a giant Panzer tank trap in the works,
depending on subsequent observation and verification of the Reports of these Russian Formations.
In the slogging match, the Panzers had to bull their way forward slowly , advancing to point blank range, stopping to fire, the massed Panzers
could deliver swaths of destruction , but were themselves now targets, and taking regrettable losses.
The battle continued even after Hitler cancelled the operation , the Panzer Damaged Panzer Divisions now had Russian Tank Armies to deal with, keeping the pressure on.
After Kursk , Hitler solution to this development, was for General to use a sliding door tactic, and to let the Charging Bear run past , while German Formations shifted Laterally, and once the Bear had gone past, to close the door behind it.

When you say "Hitler solution" are you referring to the man or using the name to describe German forces generally. ??

" use a sliding door tactic" After the end of Citadelle and the start of what was a multi stage Soviet offensive which started with the advance into the Orel salient, defending breakthroughs became the stock and trade of the Heer in the East. It was forced upon them by a range of tactical, operational and Strategic decisions.
There are many publications which document the German fighting withdrawal which started in 1943.

" and to let the Charging Bear run past , while German Formations shifted Laterally".Its a nice analogy, its was more the bear would run through or into. While i am sure there are instances where German forces had advance warning of a Soviet attack and were in sufficient strength to use counter measures such as a spoiling attack or a withdrawal of its main line so that the weight of the attack "fell on fresh air" this was only possible if you had advanced knowledge of an impending attack. Soviet Maskirovka kept the German forces off balance and unable to continuously identify threatened sectors.
And when they did identify and defend a threatened sector or faced an unexpected attack they employed a variety of defensive measures depending on a range of factors.
