Exactly right!! That record by her was heard every day (except the three mentioned in the hint) by popular request, especially over the armed forces type radio. Drove Goebbels nuts becuse he didn't believe sad type songs were good for soldiers.
There is a thread about Lale Anderson that was revived just this last week in which her real name was mentioned--thought for sure someone would pick up on it.

Glad someone got it because the quiz thread was stagnating--thought I'd have to change my question to What was Mrs. Hitler's maiden name or something.

Take it away.......

OK Robb, just to get this moving again....

Traudl Junge (though I think her full first name was actually Gertraud).

Sorry for the delay.

For what group is this the insignium, and who were its members? (And no fair checking the site the image came from--unless you're going to post a really good question next! :D )

Just a guess, and if correct, I'll pass my turn on to someone else: Badge for female auxiliaries of the "Stahlhelm-Bund"?

Absolutely right, Mike, it's a brooch for members of the Stahlhelm-Frauenbund. See:

But post another question! I'm sure you can come up with a good one!

Through the marriage of his daughter, Krista (born 18.04.1922 / died in Kronstadt, 11.11.1942), this high-ranking officer found the necessary manpower to create a new division. Please name the general, his son-in-law, and the division that resulted from their cooperation.

Whew! That's a tough one. I spent a bit of time last evening looking through Divisional histories on the off chance.....
No luck of course. I think we need a hint. Maybe something about the division?

This'll narrow the field a bit- It was a Waffen-SS division.

One more hint. The division was the eventual 7.SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen", composed largely of Volksdeutsche from Romania.
