Wolf Rudiger looks exactly like his mother. I remember when his first daughter was born and he wrote to Rudolf in prison, Rudolf joked about him having a bad aim (he wanted the child to be born on Hitler's birthday!)

Margarethe Rauch

Margarethe Rauch is the wife of Generalleutnant Erwin Rauch, who is the brother-in-law of Rudolf Hess.
For example she is mentioned here
Im Besucherbuch die wiederkehrenden Namen der Familienmitglieder: W. R. Heß, Ilse Heß, Margarethe Rauch, Ingeborg Pröhl, Monika Heß, Andrea Heß.

I'm interested in the family relationship of Margarethe Rauch (nee ?? ) to Hess.

Hello Dieter,

the maiden name of Margarethe Rauch was Margarthe Hess (Bergmann, 1969, p.146).

Rudolf Hess had a brother, Alfred, born in 1897 and a sister, Margarete, born in 1908 (Schulz, 2002, p.9).
That must be the later Margaret(h)e Rauch.

Can you tell what sort of people Rudolf and Ilse Hess were- as far as personalities and mannerisms go?
I've read a little about Herr Hess... but hopefully, you have interesting information you'd like to share.
Thank you!
