Most modern depictions of Nazi women in uniform, SS, camp guards, etc are always depicted wearing ties. The main female character in the film "The Reader" is a good example. Also modern photography does this and fake Nazi uniforms also. But when I look at genuine photographs of the period, none of the nazi women in uniform are wearing ties. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just circumstantial on the pics I happen to have seen.
It would certainly seem logical if they did not were ties as Hitler was very strong on the idea of women looking like women. Am I just theorizing if I suggest that modern films and pictures put nazi women in ties to make them look harsher by our modern way of seeing.
Nazi Women Wearing Ties. True or false?
Re: Nazi era women Wearing Ties. True or false?
It depends on what you are calling a tie.
