The Secret She Carried--new book

#1

I've posted information about my new book, The Secret She Carried: A Perilous Odyssey Through the Time of Hitler, in the "Books and other reference materials" forum. The summary can be found there. The narrative relates the eventful experiences of my mother and several other ethnic Germans in the Moravian Sudetenland from the First World War into the brutal Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia. I mention it here because it does describe the situation of rural women during the war. I also mentioned it in the the "Life in the Third Reich" theme, another fit.

Here's the link to the synopsis: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 2#p1968642

My website links are below. The book is available from Amazon.com (or UK, Germany, etc) or can be ordered through bookstores. Ebook versions of The Secret She Carried are available at many outlets including Amazon, iTunes, and Kobo. Like all authors listed in these forums, I appreciate any reviews/ratings submitted to Amazon or other book related sites, even if only a sentence or two.
