Thanks Duncan. Watch as the SS admires Inga.

J. Duncan wrote:She had the reputation of being one of the most beautiful women in the Third Reich. Hitler reportedly said of her "How can a man (Robert Ley) not be in seventh heaven with such a woman?" I think this was in reference to Ley's abuses toward her with drink and infidelity (Albert Speer: "Inside the Third Reich"). Hitler knew his labor minister was quite flawed in that regard, yet he stayed out of their private life.

She apparently had a mystical hold on Robert, who is said to have commisserated with her dead spirit in his Nuremberg jail cell, writing her remorseful letters in his depression and delerium caused by the separation of alcohol (as reported from the book by Douglas Kelley "22 Cells in Nuremberg").
Ley wanted to be buried beside his deceased wife he said Frau Wanderer (Mistress of Robert Ley)

Helge
I am confused about the above posts. If Inge was born on March 8, 1916, her father "Max Spilcker" (born August 8,1892) would have only been age 13 when she was born (very unusual)...is this correct? Are you certain of this?

Sorry Helge...how utterly stupid of me. I saw the dates and screwed up the math in my head. I'm leaving my mistake up there just to show that "yours truly" is not as bright as he thinks he is. That's the dumbest post I've made. Interesting photos though. I really like the material you find.
