Hint # 2: His becoming the Soviet military attaché in Germany was actually a temporary degradation for him. He had a personal conflict with Voroshilov and as a result was removed from the position of the commander of Leningrad's Military District. He managed to make peace with Voroshilov and became the commander of Moscow Military District already the next year.

Hm, I posted a message with an image, but it doesn't appear now. Is it normal?
PS Ok, I'll ask another question, without any pictures. What's common with 12,7 cm Panzerabwerbuchse 775(r) and Russian literature? Sorry for my English.

You must have meant 12,7 mm :milwink:

... and I have no idea what this gun and Russian literature may have in common. I hope the question is still about Soviet Union from 1917 to 1945 :?

Of course, sorry. ;-)
Hint 1: this anti-tank rifle was produced in 1941.
Hint 2: it's not just Russian literature, but Nobel prize in literature.
I hope that can help a little.

Are you referring to Dr Zhivago? If so, I still don't see any connection whatsoever between this book and the German AT rifle. Especially if this question is about Soviet Union at War 1917-1945. :?
