Soviet Engineering

I came across an interesting passage in the war diary of the 9th Army for 6th July 1941. Unfortunately I was uncertain about a lot of the terms
0001A20 (1280x433).jpg
0001A21 (1280x599).jpg
AT ditch

2.) эскарпов - breastwork

3.) Построено проволочной сети в три кола - wire obstacle with three wires

3?) - three ferries built with A-Z (A-3?) boats

4.) ... - (this was interesting) the Soviet build a roadbed on a railroad bridge to make it easier for troops and vehicles to cross

16-ton bridge built with N2P

5-ton ferry build on 20-ton barrels

9-ton bridge built with MDPA-Z (MDPA-3?)

150-ton and 300-ton ferries (river barges?)

9.) паромы из парков Н2П и НЛП - ferry built with N2P and NLP

Any good links to (or books on) Soviet military engineering in WWII?

A-3 boats were just rubber pontoons

Н2П = тяжёлый понтонный парк (on two kinds of heavier boats)

Thanks for the input. Your replies led me to

and

must be pretty close to what manuals the RKKA used.

These two books might be a little better on the actual bridging equipment used by the Soviet Army during the war.

EDIT: seems there is a third book to consult

One of Soviet Engineering that contributed on pushing germans and it's allies back was ? can you guess ? You got it! : VODKA.
Has been used in war I and War II . O yeah,, gave them a lot of courage to get out of trances shouting and fight in many instances without backup and also the drink belived to keep body warm too.
Big role played the fat food for bust energy. Very easy to please. Drinking vodka bonded soldiers and raised morals as Officers and soldiers commonly shared same bottle.
Soviet Army recruited Young Women and quickly advanced'em in high ranks. They were tough than man. It was very common to see them in front of the regiment giving orders...
