Dear Friends,

Who can provide me with a precise order of battle of the 2nd Shock Army, commanded by Lieutenant General Andriei Andrieievitch Vlassov in 1942 during the battle of Miasnoi Bor?

Glantz's book on Lenningrad covers that IIRC.

This OOB was outdated at the moment of surrounding of this army. I think you've better to use this one:

What elements of this army participated in the offensive at Mga, August - October 1942? What were the results of the battle?

46th Rifle Divison was no longer in Soviet OOB on Aug 1 1942, so how can its commander was captured on Aug 23 1942 ? Mistake ?

F.Ye. Cherniy appears in the official list of repatriated Soviet POWs. In the graph "date of capture" against his name stands 23.8.42, that must be an ultimate source. I don't know if it's true of just a typo (which is possible).
