Wow, nobody wrote in here since 2010. Ok here is my question, maybe you can help. I am compiling several OOB's for Operation Barbarossa for Germans and Soviets. Just about got a full roster of the Soviet mechanised corps in June 22 1941, but wanted to see what you guys had for sources or info on 5th MC and 30th MC. Also, I know that the 29th MC was disbanded May 7th 1941, but was interested in knowing if it was ever allotted its tank divisions and motorised division before being disbanded.

Tank divisions of the 29th MC as well as motorised one were used as individual units been of course formed and equipped with 1000+ tanks in total

such terms as Tank Division and tank are readily translated by automatic translators. Use my site abbreviation section if you have some problems with abbreviations

Are both Mechcorps and Tashv.nm gone? They were both very good sites. Is there somewhere to find to Perechen data now (besides Soldat.ru)? The html lists on Tashv were much easier to manipulate than the djvu files on Soldat.ru.

Any idea what was the composition in spring 1943 of Tank Army's Destroyer Anti-tank Regiments?

What was the meaning of 'Destroyer' in these Regiments?

Different variants. 5 or 6 batteries with 20 or 24 45-mm or 76-mm guns. One should check specific unit to give an exact answer.

Essentially nothing. Just a name given to all AT-units шт 1942 for moral boost.

Were self-propelled guns (SU-76, SU-122) In 1943 counted as 'Tanks' in Soviet documentation, or did they have thheir own file in the statistics?

What kind of statistics and documentation exactly? Formally before April 1943 IIRC SP guns were considered a part of artillery.

Actually I was looking for the number of SP -guns of the 2nd Tank Army, January- July 1943.
