Did Red Army contribute to the victory in WW2? Well from what I was told by a great aunt who brought me up, her exact
words were when Hitler invaded Russia we (meaning Great Britain) were "saved" so yes they did. And that was the consensus among many people of her generation who had lived through that time.
Did Red Army contribute to the victory in WW2?
Re: Did Red Army contribute to the victory in WW2?
If USSR was crushed in 1941, with all natural resources in the whole of Europe and Russia, Hitler could estalish a large Luffwaffe and navy force, even USA would be threatened. Russia's defeat in 1941 meant the Caucasus and Central Asia was in Hitler's hand, the defence of India was no longer viable. And oil in the Middle East also under Hitler's control.

Perhaps in time.Kelvin wrote:If USSR was crushed in 1941, with all natural resources in the whole of Europe and Russia, Hitler could estalish a large Luffwaffe and navy force, even USA would be threatened.
Possibly and possibly not. Unlikely in 41 in any case.Russia's defeat in 1941 meant the Caucasus and Central Asia was in Hitler's hand,
Possible but unlikely.the defence of India was no longer viable. And oil in the Middle East also under Hitler's control.
