Hi,
I translate (in parts) from the article in this finnish magazine:
"On the summer 1941 Stalin´s son Jakob became POW of Germans.....The eyewitnesses of his death describes how and why Jakob Dzugasvili died on electric fence of Sacsenhausen on 14th of April 1943...........In the middle of his jump the russian mashed(?) against the electric fence. Blue light flashed and a shot thundered the air. Until this day I don´t know which was first flash or the shot. I think they came at the same moment. Jakob died instantly. So tells irish Andrew Walsh, also POW in Sachenhausen. ........ The body stayed the whole night on the fence.Next morning arrived the investigation comitee from RSHA, They were very exited.............Also SS platoonleader Konrad Harfish was scary, he had shot Dzugasvili. The guardian should have shot the prisioner before he made contact with the fence. The offial reason of death is declared because of the shot next to a ear. ..........SS guardians prohibit other POWs to speak about it. When Andrew Walsh asked SS platoon leader Karl Jungling what happened to his body, the SS man points the chmneys of the KL......The ruomours appeared after the war that he was still alive.............It seems that Jakob suffered heavy depression and asked for example to be shot, but guardians denied. On the night of his death, he started to run between the barracks and the fence. When the guardian shouted him to return, Jakob answered: shoot, shoot.
