Can anyone shed light on Soviet petroleum shipments to China, (most likely to Guangzhou/Canton) following the Joffe/Sun meetings of January 1923? They would have been very important to the Chinese. When did they start up, ships departures, arrivals, bill of lading--gasoline, crude, kerosene. It is my understanding that they came from Batumi. (Hope I got that site, right. If there is an article in Russian you are able to forward that would be wonderful. Many thanks in advance.
