I finally found an online copy of Melgounov's Red Terror "classic"...very rare and hard to find. The book shows in detail the awful reign of the wild Cheka's during the revolution and civil war. Mass murder through torture and execution with some gruesome photographs. Book is often cited as a source in most period related works....still used today.
