Hello, gentlemen.
I have a question regarding Russian or rather Soviet and Mongol officers who commanded units in Khalkhin-gol campaign. I was able to identify many of them. Not all however. Here is the list of commands that names of commanding officers I'm missing:
82nd Rifle Division -
212th Airborne Brigade -
5th Heavy Machine Guns Brigade - I have a name - col. Post, without first name or "otieczestwo". I'm not however totally sure that name or rank are correct.
6th Cavalry Brigade -
Mongol: 5th, 6th, 8th Cavalry Divisions

Marek

Dear Steen,
Thank You very much indeed. One thing. Am I guessing correctly that they were both colonels?

Marek

Hi,
I don't know about Zatevakhin, most likely a Colonel but may have been a Lieutenant-Colonel. He became a Major-General in December 1941.
Rubtsov was newly promoted to the rank of Kombrig (17th May 1939).
