Vehicle designations translation
Автомобиль шабной. Translated as Shabnam car... ? Staff office truck?
Автокухня-прицепка . Google and Co. translate this as Avtokuhnya-slinging ? Kitchen trailer?
Sorry about the Russian, but I have no idea what these vehicles are. Perhaps someone could translate this.
Many thanks

Further vehicle designation translation question
Hi again,
Sorry, am slightly confused regarding the use of the word staff "car".
The 1940/41 motorcycle regiment Shtat shows a Автомобиль шабной ГАЗ-АА in the transport platoon.
Was there a GAZ-AA with a passenger body used as a staff car?

Probably a staff bus on GAZ-AA chassis. Looked the following way:Leo Niehorster wrote: Was there a GAZ-AA with a passenger body used as a staff car?

Re: Vehicle designations translation
Hi Leo and Art:
This may be a little off the subject, but a fellow member, Kerryboo, is trying to get this vehicle or vehicles identified.
To me it looks like a command/staff car similar to the GAZ A versions mounted on a modified AA chassis.
Any ideas??
Bill
