Commanders 6 Guards Assualt Aviation Division

Hi,

Regarding 6 Guards Assault Aviation Division (Gvardejskaia Shturmovaia Aviatsionnaia Diviziia), then "Komandovanie Korpusnogo i Divizionnogo …" list Major-General Pavel Ivanovich Mironenko as the commander 24th Aug. 1943 to (at least) 11th May 1944. However at http://www.podvignaroda.mil.ru/ you find 2 documents referring to Colonel, later Major-General Aleksandr Filippovich Kurochkin as the commander since June 1944

http://www.podvignaroda.mil.ru/?#id=467 ... ilDocument
http://www.podvignaroda.mil.ru/?#id=320 ... ilDocument

I am of course inclined to believe the correctness of the original documents at http://www.podvignaroda.mil.ru/, but would anyone knowing Russian be kind to confirm my understanding of Kurochkin as commander, and if so what happen to Mironenko?
Kind Regards

Yes,right you are,A.F.Kurochkin is really mentioned in your second link as its commander and Russian Wikipedia confirms this fact- https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9A%D1 ... 0%B8%D1%87
