Where did Kornilov go wrong in his march toward Ekaterinodar and what could have been done to have helped him. I would think some support to be sent from Novorussiysk, but I'm not so sure about how things to the west and southwest of Ekaterinodar were.
Furthermore, info on the actual engagements of the RCW are a bit limited. I can't seem to find a detailed map of what happened in certain engagements, such as Orel and Tula.
I sort of with I could find good recommendations for resources on the conflict.

Re: Kornilov's Mistakes in the Ice March
Kornilov really didn't make mistakes in the ice march which was a real epic until he decided to attack Ekaterinodar in April 1918 when he was killed. Forces:
Whites: 3000 men of the Volunteer army , 4000 Cossack cavalry , 8 field guns with 700 shells
Reds: 17,000 men, 30 guns with abundant ammunition
