Rifle Divisions

I have the following Shtat listed. I take it these were official modifications made by by STAVKA, not by commands, fronts or armies:
— corrected Shtat 04/550 dated 15.07.43
—— How were the corrections made? Was a new Shtat 04/550 (with modifications) issued on 15.07.43? Or merely a list of modifications to insert.

— Shtat 04/570 dated 30.05.44 [ Was this an actual Shtat? ]
—— If it existed, did the 04/570 apply for both regular and Guards Rifle Divisions ?

— Shtat 05/40 dated 18.12.44 for both regular and Guards Rifle Divisions

— corrected Shtat 05/40 dated 09.06.45.
—— And, were these in fact implemented by August 1945 for the rifle divisions in the Far East ?
—— If not, what changes were implemented, and when?

Leo,

What does 04/570 refer to, I don't recall seeing that number?

The Jul43 Rifle Division just looks to incorporate all the changes made to the Dec42 version, so I would assume it was the dreaded handwritten amendments, or worse still, nicely typed amendments that then get lost! I did find a Jun44 reissue for the Recce Coy 04/555 in the online archives, but nothing else.

The Red Army handbook suggests that 05/40 'was not used extensively in Europe, seeing only trials usage, but was the standard organisation (with some minor modifications ordered in June 45) for the operations in Manchuria in August 1945, although few Divisions appear to have had their new, expanded artillery component'.

I do not remember ever seeing this either. Hence my question(s).

The numbering for the Rifle Div does go a little odd later on. You get 04/550-04/562 inclusive to start with, then add 04/563 for the Arty HQ Pl, so that makes sense, Then though you jump to 04/569 for the 76-mm gun armed Atk Bn, and have 04/573 or 04/578 used for the same unit, the AA MG Coy, which does make me wonder whether the skipped numbers were actually used for anything, but that's a lot of tables to miss out if they were.
