German Uniforms Reference Help

Postby Edpin on 05 Aug 2012 07:05

Hello everyone,

When I was searching various sites for German uniforms during World War 2, I found this website:
http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/Germany/HB/HB-9.html
In my opinion the pictures shown there (as attached), are a great reference.

Could someone please tell me, from where those pictures come from?

Cheers :)

It says right on the header....the photos & text are taken from the US WW 2 TM (Technical Manual) on German Military Forces....and all the uniform views are US Soldiers wearing German Kit.....

For many years these were necessary books in every collectors library.....of course, they have limited Referance value in todays collector world....except as a "basic reader...
