Let me cut to the chase.
I'm very interested in the Allgemeine-SS, because let's be honest - their uniforms look amazing. This is a once in a lifetime thing where I want to spend my money on a replica uniform just for the sake of having one. Of course, I'm going to go "balls to the wall" and specifically buy an Officer style uniform. Specifically, I will be buying shoulder boards and collar tabs of an Sturmbannführer. (I just love how the four studs are even on the collar tab)
But, my main issue is this.. I have no idea in hell on how to put the shoulder boards on. From some I hear, "Oh, it's just a loop and a button on the tunic that you put it on" and some others say, "No, you have to sew the darn thing on!" I don't know which one to believe exactly, so if someone could please help explain this to me it would be much appreciated. (Oh also, are there certain measurements for shoulder boards?)
My next issue is very similar, it has to do with the collar tabs. How in the heck am I suppose get those suckers on, I can only assume they need to be stitched on but how.. If you could also provide me with possible measurements on where they are suppose to go on, I'd also really appreciate that.
These are two sites that I was looking at for tunics, so if you guys want to offer any criticism on which site I should buy from - go ahead.

Lastly, boots.. Boots are crazy expensive in my opinion but hey, I kinda' expected that. I just want to get some good quality boots so if any of you could point me in the right direction, I thank you. Although these are the boots that I was planning on buying, so if you can tell me if these are good or not that'd be awesome.

Thanks to anyone who helps contribute!
(If you have any cheaper and better alternatives that would be amazing, although I know cheaper and better is an oxymoron.)
