Hi
Douglas 5

30 years to collect, and the best is not on the photos (g/k43, mp44, mp40 etc), and 15 others mannequins, no more place.
In the next 6 months, i transform an old horsestable, in a mega exposition about 100 m2.

Regards

Francis.

Hi Francis,
You have a collection to be envied, its great, I enjoy how you have it mixed with the different countries. I could spend alot of time in there just enjoying all the little details and small items along with the uniforms, guns and helmets.
Question, since France was occupied and was a major battle front where there must have been a great abundance of militaria left were you able to pickup a large part of your collection from right there in your own country or did you get alot from outside sources (i.e. dealers and auctions) not in France ?

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your congratulations.
The most part of my collection comes from my country. 95%
The rest comes from gun show, militaria fair, in Belgium.

Francis

I suspect you must open a private museum soon ;-)
Could i come to visit it? (Just kidding, but if it is ever open for visitors, please let us know).

Really GREAT!

Just a question....

In picture:

you can see something standing up with a big spring on the right. What is that?

Hi,

The gun standing up with a big spring is a 2cm flak 28 (also named oerlikon 20 mm flak 28).Rare to find.
The most common are the 20 mm flak 38.

Francis
