Luftwaffe Top Coat Question

Postby Krim4142 on 11 Feb 2003 11:30

I have just added to my collection a Luftwaffe Enlisted Mans Top Coat, in good condition, with very light mothing. The one distraction is a mouse hole on the sleeve, just above the french cuff.
I'm thinking of raising the cuff up to cover the hole, or have a tailor move a piece of material from the inside of the lower part of the coat in order to repair it. Or should I just leave it as is, what are the views of other collectors. Thank you for any responses.
